3M™ 203 is a 4.7 mil general purpose masking tape built on a crepe paper backing with a natural rubber adhesive. The backing tears cleanly by hand, eliminating the need for a dispenser during high-volume application, while the adhesive delivers immediate tack on contact.

This tape handles light-duty paint masking, surface protection, bundling, labeling, and general holding tasks. It performs reliably on powder-coated metal and stainless steel, making it a practical choice for manufacturing lines, assembly areas, maintenance crews, and warehouse operations where a dependable general purpose tape is regularly consumed.

The 4.7 mil construction withstands temperatures up to 200°F for 30 minutes, supporting short-duration paint bake cycles and similar controlled heat applications. Each case contains 24 rolls at 2 inches wide by 60 yards per roll and ships via parcel carrier.
